Woman carjacked at Oak Park Mall
A woman was carjacked at gunpoint Friday night in the parking lot at Oak park Mall in Overland Park.
Police said a man approached the victim about 7:45 p.m., displayed a gun and demanded her keys. He then drove away in her silver Ford Focus with Missouri plates. The victim was not injured.
The man was described as black, young looking, about 5-feet-8-inches tall with a skinny build. He was wearing a black and red hooded sweatshirt and a black beanie. The man had arrived in a dark colored, four-door sedan. Both vehicles left on 95th Street.
