Kansas City police arrested three suspected robbers late Thursday while investigating six robberies committed within a few hours.

The arrests happened just after 10 p.m. after a brief vehicle and foot chase that ended at 46th Street and Forest Avenue.

The robberies happened at 17th and Walnut streets, Linwood Boulevard and Wyandotte Road, 41st Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, 37th Street and Wyoming Avenue, 43rd Street and Walnut Avenue and 40th and McGee streets.

Investigators obtained surveillance video of three robbers involved in the 41st and Pennsylvania Avenue crime and distributed photos to officers. As other robberies occurred, officers received information about a white Chevrolet they believed the crew was driving.

Officers spotted a vehicle matching that description a short time later. After a car chase, the three people inside got out and ran to the area of 46th and Forest, where police arrested them. Two of the three matched robbers pictured in the photographs, police said.
