Olathe police seeking school vandals
Olathe police are asking for the public’s help to catch vandals who caused more than $10,000 in damage to athletic facilities at Olathe East High School.
Police said the vandalism occurred between 6:00 p.m. Tuesday and 7:50 a.m. Wednesday at the school in the 14500 block of West 127th Street.
Someone covered the football field and track behind the school with spray-painted graffiti. School district officials estimated that it will cost more than $10,000 to clean up and repair the damage.
