Kansas City man shot in the jaw during dispute involving woman, ex-boyfriend

Kansas City police found a man shot in the jaw at a home in the 2700 block of Park Avenue Tuesday night, according to authorities.

The shooting was reported about 8:30 p.m. by a woman who told officers that her ex-boyfriend had shown up to the address. The man she was with confronted the ex-boyfriend, who allegedly shot the man in the jaw.

The man was transported to a hospital in stable condition. Police had not yet arrested a suspect Tuesday night.
