KC police release name of man killed New Year’s Day
Police have identified a 23-year-old man found shot to death in the 5100 block of East 112th Terrace on New Year’s Day as Sederick Jones of Kansas City.
Officers responding to a shooting call just before 3 a.m. on Friday found two people shot. Jones died at the scene. The other victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
