Grandview police responded to an accident about 9 p.m. Saturday in the 11900 block of Holiday Drive, where a car had become lodged halfway into a ground-floor apartment.

The occupants of the apartment were home when the car slammed through the wall, police said, but nobody was injured.

The car, a Dodge Charger, was reported stolen in an armed carjacking in Kansas City, police said. The driver and another person had fled the scene.

The incident remained under investigation.
