Woman hurt in OP crash caused by hit-and-run driver
A woman was seriously injured Wednesday when a hit-and-run driver caused her car to flip over on Interstate 435 in Overland Park.
The wreck occurred about 2:15 p.m. Wednesday in the westbound lanes of the interstate between Nall and Lamar avenues, police said.
The vehicle that caused the wreck was dark and should have damage along its passenger side, according to police. It was last seen heading west on I-435.
The woman was ejected after her silver Mitsubishi Eclipse struck a retaining wall and rolled over several times.
Anyone with information on the suspect vehicle is asked to call Overland Park police at 913-344-8750 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
