KC police investigate life-threatening shooting

Police are investigating a life-threatening shooting in south Kansas City that happened Wednesday morning.

The victim suffered a head wound, police said. He was found sitting in a vehicle in the 10200 block of Belmont Avenue shortly after 11 a.m.

Investigators ask anyone with information about the shooting to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
