A 4-year-old boy was wounded in a drive-by shooting Friday night in a house on Hardesty Avenue and was in serious but stable condition at an area hospital, Kansas City police said.
Police were were called to the 300 block of Hardesty at about 9:15 p.m. Witnesses said someone had driven by and fired several rounds into the house, hitting the boy in the midsection and wounding a 22-year-old man in his finger. He was treated and released from a hospital. Both were taken by private vehicles to the hospital. The man was listed good condition.
