Two Sunday morning homicides in Kansas City
Kansas City police are working two homicides early Sunday.
Shortly before 4 a.m. an adult male shooting victim arrived at Children’s Mercy Hospital, where he died of his wound. Police believe the shooting was part of a disturbance among people who knew each other. Police are not looking for a suspect.
Shortly after 4 a.m., police were called to the 3400 block of East Park Avenue on a report of shots fired. They found a male victim dead in the driveway of a residence. Anyone with information is asked to call the Tips Hotline at 816-474-8477.
They are the 98th and 99th homicides recorded this year. There were 81 in 2014.
