Police still need help identifying homicide victim found at 24th Street and Monroe Avenue

Kansas City police continue to seek the public’s help in identifying a woman who was found dead early Sunday near 24th Street and Monroe Avenue.

They announced Tuesday that she had a tattoo of the name Anthony on her lower back.

They described her as African-American with a medium complexion, approximately 5 feet, 1 inch tall, weighing 200 pounds and as young as 18 years old or as old as her late 20s. She had a stud lip ring on her lower lip and stud earrings in both ears. She also had long black and blonde hair extensions, with cornrows dyed red beneath the hair extensions.
