KC police investigating homicide after man found dead in car on East 25th Street

Kansas City police are investigating the death of a man found inside a vehicle in the 4300 block of East 25th Street on Monday morning.

The body was in the driver’s seat of a sport utility vehicle parked in front of a boarded-up house, police said. A passer-by alerted police about 10 a.m. Monday. The SUV’s door had been left open for an extended time.

Police described the victim as a man but did not provide an approximate age.

A distraught relative arrived at the scene later Monday morning.
