Second suspect charged in Lee’s Summit burglary in which homeowner stabbed one intruder
A second suspect in a Dec. 11 burglary in which a homeowner stabbed an intruder has been arrested and charged, Lee’s Summit police said Monday.
Christian Olguin-Todd, 17, of Independence, faces a charge of first-degree burglary.
The break-in happened in the 400 block of Northwest Ambersham. A resident told officers that he heard knocking at his door and a “muffled bang” from the back of the home.
As he walked downstairs, the resident saw two men coming up the stairs toward him, he told police. The resident stabbed one man in the neck and the intruders fled, police reported.
Police arrested James D. Jones, 26, of Kansas City when he appeared at a hospital for treatment.
