The eastbound ramp from the Paseo onto Interstate 70 was shut down for a brief time Saturday when a group of protesters attempted to block traffic on the highway, police said.
Several people were arrested for blocking traffic. The group of 75 people had initially gathered at Parade Park and proceeded to march onto the interstate entrance ramp, near downtown. Eastbound traffic was shut down as a safety precaution. The group was protesting police brutality and the events in Ferguson.
No injuries were reported.
