Police identify man fatally shot during altercation at south Kansas City tire shop

Authorities have identified a 42-year-old customer shot to death Tuesday evening at a south Kansas City tire shop as Robert Lewis of Kansas City.

Investigate think Lewis became involved in an altercation with others inside the business in the 8100 block of Hickman Mills Drive. Lewis and another person brandished guns before Lewis was shot to death.

The shooter remained at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.

The shooting remains under investigation. No arrests have been made.
