KCK police discover human remains while searching for missing boy
Kansas City, Kan. police discovered human remains Thursday while searching for a missing 7-year-old boy.
Police said they found the remains while executing a search warrant at a residence in the 5200 block of North 99th Street. Investigators said the remains have not been identified.
Officers were summoned to a residence in the 9900 block of Hutton Road on an armed disturbance call around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. At that time, it was alleged that the boy had been missing for some time. Police were told the boy might be dead and the body was inside a nearby residence.
Police continued their investigation of both incidents Thursday.
