Motorist is killed in Riverside wreck

Jestin K. Best, 21, of Kansas City was killed Monday night in a three-vehicle accident on Missouri 9 near Northwest Mattox Road in Riverside, according to police.

According to initial police reports, a northbound Subaru Impreza driven by Best crossed the highway median and struck two southbound vehicles, a Ford Expedition and a Buick Century, just before 10 p.m.

Best died at the scene. The other drivers were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
