Shooting investigations underway in Kansas City, Kan.

Police are investigating an apparent homicide discovered about 3:40 a.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of N. 24th Street.

Police called to the Kansas City, Kan., address found a man in his 40s dead of a gunshot wound. No other information was available by Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile, police continued interviewing potential witnesses concerning a double shooting that occurred Friday night in the 800 block of N. 70th Terrace. A teen-age boy was in critical condition with a wound to the head. A woman in her 20s had a minor injury. Both were wounded when someone fired multiple rounds into a townhouse.
