A man shot during an altercation with U.S. marshals in Overland Park last week was released from the hospital Tuesday, police said.
A Marshals Service task force was attempting to arrest Keith D. Angell on outstanding warrants when the shooting occurred near 105th Street and Metcalf Avenue.
Angell, 44, is now being held in the Johnson County Jail. He has outstanding warrants for various offenses in Johnson, Wyandotte and Platte counties, according to court records.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the shooting and whether or not Angell will face additional charges.
