Authorities identify victim in Dec. 3 fatal Northland crash

Authorities have identified a woman who died Dec. 3 in a head-on collision on Route H in rural Clay County as Jackie Kinkead, 57, of Kansas City.

According to preliminary reports, Kinkead’s vehicle was traveling east on Route H about 3:30 p.m. when it crossed the center line and struck a westbound vehicle near Northeast 124th Street. Kinkead died at Liberty Hospital, where the other driver and passengers from both vehicles were treated.

Kinkead was a longtime employee of Concerned Care Inc., a North Kansas City agency that serves people who have developmental disabilities.
