KCK police want to interview father in hit-and-run case
Police in Kansas City, Kan., are seeking the public’s help in finding a man they want to interview in connection with a hit-and-run accident that critically injured a 2-year-old boy last month.
Investigators would like to find Eduardo Lopez, 35, who is the father of the injured boy. They describe him as Hispanic, about 5-foot-10 and 210 pounds with a glass eye. He drives a blue four-door 2007 Toyota Tundra bearing the Kansas license tag of 643CSN, police said.
The driver of an older-model white car fled after striking Eduardo Lopez Martinez about 4:35 p.m. Nov. 24 in front of 1127 N. 32nd Street. The car did not leave any skid marks, police said.
Police ask that anyone with information on where they can find Lopez to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (474-8477).
