Police investigate fatal shooting at KCK home
A man shot in the face in front of a home in Kansas City, Kan., died at a hospital Wednesday night, police said.
Police investigated the shooting at a house near Central Avenue and North Ninth Street. A man in his 30s was shot while sitting on the front porch of the home about 5:40 p.m., police said.
A woman at the residence called police to report the shooting. Officers had no description of a shooter. At least two bullet casings were found in the street.
The injured man was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Police did not release the man’s name Wednesday night.
