Police are investigating a fatal shooting Monday afternoon in central Kansas City.

The victim was found in the 3300 block of College Avenue just before 12:30 p.m. Monday, police reported.

Initial reports indicated that someone had shot him in the throat.

Witnesses told police that a suspect or suspects may have arrived in a dark gray pickup truck but fled in a red car, possibly a Ford.
