Overland Park police investigate vehicle accident
A 47-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries Saturday after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a tree at U.S. 69 and 103rd Street in Overland Park.
The accident reportedly happened at 2:30 a.m. Police said the driver tried to exit while northbound on U.S. 69 and lost control of his vehicle. Emergency crews took the man to a nearby hospital. No one else was in the vehicle.
The man’s name is not being released until relatives have been alerted, police said. The accident remains under investigation.
