KCK police investigate severe beating
Kansas City, Kan., police are asking for the public’s help in their investigation into the severe beating of a man early Sunday.
Police released security-camera photographs of two men they want to question in the case.
Police said a man in his 20s was beaten and possibly struck by a vehicle in the 500 block of Center Street. Police were called just before 9 a.m. but the beating may have happened some time earlier. The man is recovering in an area hospital.
One of the men in the photographs is wearing a black coat, lighter-colored sweatshirt and a hat. The other is wearing a white and gray striped shirt. Anyone with information is asked to call the Tips Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
