Police identify victim in fatal south Kansas City shooting

Kansas City police have identified a 35-year-old man shot to death inside a residence in the 8100 block of Blue Ridge Boulevard early Monday as Ronald Pruitt.

Officers initially were dispatched on a disturbance call. The call later was upgraded to a shooting.

Investigators said they believe the shooting likely stemmed from an earlier disturbance at the house.
