Man attacked with a saw, seriously injured near downtown Kansas City

Kansas City police are at the scene early Monday of a man who was reportedly cut with a saw.

The attack happened just after 8 a.m. in the 900 block of East 9th Street.

No arrests have been made and more details on the assault were not immediately available.
