A 29-year-old Kansas City man was killed in one-vehicle wreck early Tuesday at Winner Road and Manchester Avenue.
The accident was reported just after 3 a.m. Police said the driver was westbound when he lost control of his vehicle and drove south of a bridge. The vehicle ripped through a chain-link fence and went airborne over two sets of railroad tracks before crashing into several parked vehicles.
The driver was ejected and was pronounced dead after being transported to a hospital, police said.
The accident remains under investigation.
