Man fires several shots in Overland Park after asking for directions
A man told Overland Park police that a man fired gunshots at him after asking for directions early Monday night.
The victim said the man approached him about 9 p.m. in the 7900 block of Grant Street.
The man, who was in his late 20s, asked the victim for directions. While they were talking, the man pointed a gun at the victim.
The victim fled and as he was running, he told police he heard several shots being fired. The victim was not injured.
A complete description of the gunman was not available. He was driving what is believed to be a gray Dodge Charger.
