Adrian man is killed in Cass County wreck

A 68-year-old man died in a one-vehicle accident about 2 p.m. Thursday in Cass County, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Gerald L. Bohrer of Adrian, Mo., was killed after the 2009 Ford F-250 truck he was driving went off the road near Missouri 2 and Route C, east of Freeman.

The truck was traveling south on Route C when it left the road and struck a tree. The truck overturned and came to rest on its top, the patrol said.

Bohrer died at the scene.
