‘Pink’ thieves sought by Overland Park police

A pair of alleged thieves with a decided taste for the color pink are being sought by Overland Park police.

Store surveillance photos show the man wearing a shirt with the word “pink” in pink letters on the front. The woman is wearing a pink sweatshirt. The photos were taken in retail stores where they allegedly made purchases with checks stolen in a car burglary outside a country club.

And in keeping with the color theme, one of the items they bought with a stolen check was a pink bed comforter, according to police.
