Leavenworth police investigate double shooting

Leavenworth police investigated a shooting Friday night that injured two people.

The shooting was reported about 7:30 p.m. near N. 5th and Kickapoo streets, said Leavenworth Police Chief Pat Kitchens.

Police arrested one person shortly after the shooting. No other details were immediately available.
