FBI investigates bank robbery in Raytown

The FBI investigated a robbery Friday at Bank of America, 10017 E. 63rd St. in Raytown.

The robbery was reported about 1:45 p.m. The robber gave a bank teller a note demanding money and did not show a weapon. No injuries were reported.

The robber carried a brown, accordion-style folder and fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was described as a black man in his 30s, about five-foot-eight with an average build.

He wore a grey, long-sleeved hooded sweatshirt, wire-framed glasses and a Kansas City Chiefs ball cap.

Anyone with information about the robbery was asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-8477.
