Man dies after being shot in Raytown parking lot
Raytown police investigated a deadly shooting Thursday night near 66th Terrace and Raytown Road.
A man found shot in a parking lot was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police did not release the man’s name on Thursday.
The shooting was reported about 6 p.m. by an officer in a nearby building. Patrol officers arriving at the scene said they saw a light grey or silver car with a “boxy” rear end leaving the scene.
Two patrol cars were damaged in a collision while responding to the call, but no injuries were reported.
