Teen reported killed in Lee’s Summit

Police in Lee’s Summit said Thursday that they are investigating the shooting death of a 17-year-old male.

Officers were called about 10 a.m. Thursday to the 900 block of N.E. Bristol Drive where they found the victim dead inside a home.

A witness told police that they saw two other males fleeing the area “at a high rate of speed” in a white Ford Focus.
