KCI officials partially evacuate terminal over suspicious passenger

Authorities evacuated a portion of Terminal C at the Kansas City International Airport on Tuesday after a passenger aboard an American Airlines flight began to act suspiciously, according to aviation officials.

The incident began during a flight from Chicago to Kansas City. The flight crew alerted KCI Airport Police about the passenger.

Out of caution for public safety, authorities evacuated portions of Terminal C, said Joe McBride, a KCI spokesman. Airport police took the passenger into custody for questioning.
