Olathe woman charged with indecent liberties

A 42-year-old Olathe woman has been charged with engaging in sexual acts with a minor.

Karen J. Moore was arrested Saturday after prosecutors charged her with aggravated indecent liberties and sodomy. Prosecutors accused Moore of committing the acts with a 14-year-old beginning in June 2014 and lasting until July 2015.

Moore was held at the Johnson County jail Saturday with bond set at $100,000. She was scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday.

Moore was also scheduled to go to trial on an Olathe city charge of permitting an unauthorized minor to drive a vehicle.
