Olathe bank robbed
An Olathe bank was robbed Tuesday afternoon, according to the FBI.
The robbery was reported just after 3 p.m. at the Brotherhood Bank & Trust at 17900 West 119th Street.
The robber appeared to be talking on a cell phone when he entered the bank and handed a note to a teller demanding money, according to the FBI.
He did not show a weapon during the robbery and no one was injured.
The robber was last seen driving westbound on 118th Street in white four-door vehicle.
The suspect is described as a clean-shaven white man in his 40s who is 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds.
He wore glasses, a golf-style cap with a snap in the front, a yellow or light-colored long sleeved button-down shirt, blue jeans and dark shoes.
