Police seize pocket knife, rebar after road rage incident in Ottawa, Kan.
A road rage incident in Ottawa, Kan., left one man injured and another in custody after police collected a pocket knife and a section of rebar from the scene.
The incident was reported to police just before 6:30 p.m. in the 700 block of S. Ash Street, where officers found a 51-year-old man with a cut in his arm after an altercation with another motorist. The man declined transportation to a hospital.
The man and another driver had stopped their vehicles on S. Ash Street and stepped out to fight, according to police. A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery and transported to the Franklin County jail.
Anyone who saw two vehicles driving recklessly on Ash Street around the time of the incident was asked to call Ottawa police at 785-242-1700.
