Kansas City police investigate shooting near Swope Parkway

Kansas City police searched for a man who shot a person just after 10 p.m. Thursday night near E. 58th Street and Swope Parkway.

The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police described the shooter as a black man, about five-foot-six with gold teeth, driving a two-tone Dodge Magnum.
