18-year-old woman dies in wreck in Mission

An 18-year-old Kansas City woman died early Wednesday when she crashed into a tree in 5200 block of Metcalf Avenue in Mission, police said.

Police said Ceraa Carson was driving north in a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am when she lost control of her car, which left the roadway about 1:25 a.m. She died at the scene.
