Clerk shot during robbery at Merriam 7-Eleven
A robber armed with a shotgun shot a clerk early Wednesday morning at a 7-Eleven convenience store in Merriam.
Emergency crews rushed the clerk to a hospital, where the clerk was in stable condition, police said.
The robber entered the store in the 6800 block of Antioch Road about 2 a.m. He pointed the shotgun at the clerk and demanded money. At some point, the robber shot the clerk.
A complete description of the robber was not available. However, police released a photo of him captured on surveillance video.
