Kansas City man pleads guilty to holding up Overland Park bank
A 33-year-old man admitted in U.S. District Court on Monday that he helped hold up an Overland Park bank earlier this year.
Landein Craddock of Kansas City and another man robbed the Bank of the West branch at 94th Street and Antioch Road on Jan. 20.
Overland Park police spotted Craddock and the other man shortly after the holdup in a black Honda and followed them to Kansas City, where the car wrecked near 99th and Harrison streets. Craddock ran and was arrested at gunpoint about a block from the accident scene.
The second robber was arrested nearby about 15 minutes later.
The sentencing date for Craddock has not been set.
