Pair of juveniles arrested after trying to break-in Fairway residence
Police arrested two juveniles Tuesday evening after they allegedly tried to break into the Fairway residence of a state lawmaker.
The incident was reported about 7 p.m. in the 4100 block of Brookridge Drive. The state representative was not home at the time.
The juveniles initially tried to enter through the front door then attempted to get inside through a rear entrance, police said. The lawmaker’s husband spotted them and called 911. Police arrived moments later and arrested the juveniles, said police spokesman Lt. J.P. Thurlo.
There was no indication that the attempted break-in was connected to the homeowner’s job as a state representative, Thurlo said.
