KCK man is charged with numerous thefts in Johnson County

A 42-year-old man is in the Johnson County jail, accused in a string of break-ins and thefts across the county.

Clark, of Kansas City, Kan., was arrested Friday.

In one case, he faces 18 felony charges of burglary and theft as well as four misdemeanor counts. Those crimes are alleged to have occurred between November 2014 and March. A number of the charges involve burglaries and thefts from an Overland Park storage facility.

In another case he is charged with breaking into a building in Merriam and stealing a riding lawn mower and several four-wheel vehicles.

In the third case, Clark is accused of stealing more than $25,000 worth of equipment from a Johnson County construction business.
