Triple shooting at Kansas City gas station leaves three wounded — one seriously

Three people were wounded in a shooting at a gas station in Kansas City’s Key Coalition neighborhood late Monday, a police spokesperson said

Officers responded to the shooting about 11:45 p.m. Monday at the Shell Xpress Mart at 2202 E. 31st St., said Officer Alayna Gonzalez with the Kansas City Police Department.

There, officers found three people who had been shot. One of the victims had serious injuries, while the other two had non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency medical crews took the victims to a hospital, where they were listed in stable condition, Gonzalez said.

All three victims were male, but their ages were not immediately available, Gonzalez said. Police said there were three suspects involved in the shooting. No one was in custody and no suspect information was available.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
