Police searching for man accused of fleeing road rage incident in Overland Park

Overland Park police are searching for a man accused of being involved in a road rage incident Tuesday afternoon that left one person injured.

At 2:25 p.m., officers with the Overland Park Police Department responded to the area of West 162nd Street and Travis Street, near the Boulders at Overland Park Apartments, on reports of an aggravated battery, according to a press release from police spokesperson Officer John Lacy.

There, officers contacted a man who reported he was involved in a road rage incident with another man, Lacy said. The suspect allegedly fled the scene heading north in a gray sedan. He is described as a man in his late 20s.

The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition, Lacy said. He is expected to recover.
