Motorcycle gang member sent to federal prison for Blue Springs assault on rival
A Springfield man, who was a prospect for the Pagan’s Motorcycle Club, was sentenced to nearly five years in federal prison Tuesday after pleading guilty to assault with a dangerous weapon in aid of racketeering, stemming from a 2022 incident in Blue Springs .
Brandon S. Hodge, 26, also known as “Youngblood,” received 57 months in federal prison without parole.
On Sept. 17, 2022, Hodge and 12 other members of the club and support club allegedly chased and assaulted a rival gang member, leaving the rival with seven gunshot wounds , according to a release from the United States Attorney’s office for the Western District of Missouri.
Several members of the Pagan’s Motorcycle Club and their support club were armed with guns and at lease one axe handle, with the victim suffering gunshot wounds in their knee, thigh, back of the leg, forearm, biceps and buttocks.
Hodge and the other members fled the scene before law enforcement arrived, and allegedly received club patches for their role in the incident, according to the release.
