Teen arrested and charged in triple shooting that killed two in KCK

A teen has been arrested and charged in the Kansas City, Kansas, shooting that killed two men and injured a woman.

Jimi L. St. Clair, 19, has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of Tyler Wheeler, 26, and Victor Loza, 22, as well as one count of attempted second-degree murder.

Police responded shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday to the 1600 block of Washington Boulevard, according to Capt. Osvaldo Navarro with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department.

There, officers found the two men and the woman, who had all been shot. The woman’s age was not given.

One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene, Navarro said. The other two were taken to a hospital, where the second man died. The woman’s injuries were not life-threatening, Navarro said.

St. Clair is being held in the Jackson County Jail awaiting extradition to Wyandotte County.
