One dead following shooting, car wreck in North Kansas City; suspect at large
One person is dead following a shooting and car wreckin North Kansas City Monday, according to a news release.
North Kansas City police officers responded to the area of Armour Road and Missouri Route 210 around 3 p.m. after receiving “multiple 911 calls” reporting a shooting and car wreck, Nakahodo said.
One person was transported from the scene to an area hospital and was later pronounced dead, Nakahodo said. That person was later publicly identified as identified as Deandre Ferguson, 33.
A suspect identified by police was last seen leaving North Kansas City, Nakahodo said.
“At this time, there is no immediate threat to the local community,” Nakahodo said.
